The Karchev Slide
Another battle report!! To be honest, I’ve gotten so many games in lately I can’t even write them all up!
This time it’s a mk1 350pt game of Cryx versus Khador.
I’m going to let the pics do most of the talking here so see below!
As you can see, the nightwretch got a lucky shot off on the greylords and killed one. Karchev did his tow/arcantrik turbine advance. Asphyxious cast scything touch on himself. Not much else.
The nightwretch moved forward and fired on the greylords, killing 1. The seether charged in and engaged the remaingin wizard. Karchev did his slide manuveur as I suspected and Drago charged the seether. Unfortunately, he completely wrecked teh seether, which I didnt plan for. The berserker milled about in difficult terrain. Bile thralls purged all over everyone and gave corrosion to the whole khador lot. The nightwrwtch on the right ran aroun ddrago and was intercepted by the wardog, which I just realized isnt shown on these sick grpahics. The nightwretch failed to kill the doggy multiple times. The deathripper movfed closer to the enemy warcaster. Asphyxious arced parasite through the jack and it stuck. Then he used the remaining focus to shadowwing himself next to karchev. If he could just survive teh onslaught, he would be hitting straight damage to the brute.
UNfortunately that didnt happen. UNearthly rage is a very effecient killer nad it works on his battlegroup AND karchev. Well, that’s what did me in.
I was completely satified with my manuveuring this game so I feel like I won, despite losing. Great game Dave!
