So with much headache and complaining from mostly me, the LTC began its first League-athon of the 2013 gaming season.  It all started with a brilliantly developed brain fart from Thundernuts.  And when I say brilliant I mean dastardly.  If you’ve been following the LTC you know that I have sold myself over to painting other peoples models for a while in order to be able to continue my hobby and gaming.  This put me in a predicament of what new master I was going to choose and how might I complete the challenge.  Turns out I had a lot of speed bumps to jump over.  First off I was expecting a handful of models in return for my painting services.  In this pool of mini’s there included box sets of Mcmourning, Nicodem, and Molly.  In true Flagship comic fashion the last time I checked in with the store after painting a bunch of stuff quite some time ago and making an order, turns out stuff isn’t in yet.  ?  Yup.  So Nicodem and Molly had to be considered M.I.A. And unfortunately still are at this point.  Which messes me up because Molly was my initial plan for using in this league.  I kept hoping it would come in, thus leaving me with a master that could work well with my already painted crew and be only one model to paint over break or even before thus ensuring fully painted play only.  - whaaa whaa whaaaaa – (aaronl will complain about me complaining in a comment of this post probably)

It’s like: I really want to fully support my LGS but….  really again?  Not sure why it takes over a month to get things in?  I can order it from someplace else and literally have it in 3 days max, right on my front porch. oh well. beggars cant be choosers.

Luckily for me another guy I’m painting some models for totally came through!  McMourning at my doorstep during Christmas break.  The downside is that with a small child Christmas break actually translates into: Drive around so everyone can see your child week. What do you mean time for modeling? That doesnt exist.

Ok. So speaking of modeling I got the crew and started sculpting some green.  I managed to green stuff out bases for the McMo box set and his zombie chihuahua.  Also I decided to follow suite with a canine remains and do a little doctoring up to an extra belle body I had that has been missing an arm.  So thats the start of my crew. Next step priming and then painting…  McMo needs to be finished by the end of the month or else I lose. Wish me luck.

Went with a tile pattern for the base. Easy to clean up the blood. Y’know. Plus those pansy Guildies always tile their autopsy centers in such kooky patterns! Lucioush!
