Whether you have noticed it or not, we have been busy restyling the site. Instead of the dark macabre bitterness we used to tint our musings under, we have changed to something a little more nerdy and uplifting. Hossanah in the highest!!!

More uplifting and pleasant! Easier to read too! We still have a lot of bugs to work out as well as a few graphical tweaks, but the new look is here. The Crusher is here. Meet Crushie the Crusher, our icon and mentor. When things look bleak we turn to Crushie who reminds us to pummel our foes into submission. When our patience is running thin, we turn to Crushie, who tells us Patience is a virtue we dont have and it’s better to beat people senseless like Krampus in a juvenile detention facility. When we are making new characters, undecided facing a player’s handbook arsenal, we turn to Crushie who reminds us that one handed blunt will eventually prevail. As Stephen King so eloquently put it, “the gears in [our] head turn slow, but grind extremely well.”

Blunt is what we are. Blunt is the truth. We are not the prettiest gamers on the internet, nor are we the sharpest. We aren’t the most tactical, nor the most piercingly perceptive. We aren’t the shiniest weapons in the tool shed, but we are among the heaviest. We are the bludgeons. Methodical, unrelenting, unyielding, with the mass of a steam driven hammer swung by a rabid dire troll mauler. Mans’ first weapon was a fist and thus bludgeon weapons were born. We have been around for a long time and we will be here until the end. When the last man’s hand reaches forth to grasp a stone to beat a zombies brains out, Crushie will nod his head in approval.
